Year 9 at Sacred Heart comprises a range of interesting and engaging subjects and opportunities. A definite highlight is the camp to the Northern Territory early in Term 3.
Students in Year 9 participate in a Northern Territory experience which involves a 7-day expedition to the Northern Territory. This trip is a highlight for our students and presents as a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit some of the cultural sites of significance and experience the vibrant history of the Top End. Some of the significant sites visited include:
- Nitmiluk & Katherine Gorge
- Sacred Heart College Katherine
- Mataranka Springs
- Ubir & Cahills Crossing
- Florence & Edith Falls
- Mindil Beach
- Darwin Military Museum
Year 9 students complete the following subjects:
