Sacred Heart College supports the notion that career development is the lifelong process of managing learning and work activities in order to live a productive and fulfilling life.
The Years 7 and 8 Program covers the Learning domains in a variety of ways.
Students in Year 9 participate in a Northern Territory experience which involves an 8-day expedition to the Northern Territory.
At Sacred Heart College, Year 10 marks the beginning of the transition to Senior School. At this point in time students select a program of studies to help prepare them for a senior secondary certificate. It is not uncommon for students to commence study of a VCE or VET study.
Sacred Heart College offers a range of academic, applied and vocational strands to foster our students’ various aspirations, talents and skills.
Our library is a busy place after and during school with a wide range of activities being undertaken. Chess remains one of our most popular activities with cards, jigsaw puzzles, board games and origami as well. The weekly chess puzzle is hotly contested, as are our annual chess tournaments.
